Welcome to Tecydo. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are provided by Akyno Apps ("we", "our", or "us") and govern your access to and use of the Tecydo website at tecydo.com and the Tecydo Craft Calculator mobile application (the "App"), together with related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.

1. About Tecydo

Tecydo is a craft pricing and cost calculator for makers, artisans, and small handmade businesses. It helps you calculate material costs, labor, overhead, and suggested selling prices for sewing, crochet, knitting, and other craft projects.

The App may be offered for free with advertising. Some features may require an optional premium subscription or a one-time purchase, when made available in your region.

The website may offer free online calculators for informational purposes. These Terms apply to all users of the website and the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service. By using Tecydo, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your data on your device

Tecydo does not require account registration at this time. The information you add in the App — including projects, calculations, pricing data, and history — is saved locally on your device, not on our servers.

No export or backup features. Tecydo does not currently offer tools to export, download, back up, or import your data to another device. You cannot transfer your saved content through the App. If you uninstall the App, reset your device, or lose access to your device, data stored only on that device may be permanently lost.

You agree to:

  • Keep your device secure
  • Understand that uninstalling the App without other copies of your data may permanently delete information stored only on that device
  • Use [email protected] only for help with the Service — not to recover local data we do not host

If we introduce optional accounts, cloud sync, or data export in the future, we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy accordingly.

4. Premium subscriptions and one-time purchases

If Tecydo offers optional premium or PRO features through auto-renewing subscriptions and/or one-time in-app purchases (such as lifetime access), the following applies:

Payment: All payments, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process or store your payment card details.

Subscriptions: If a subscription is available, it automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store settings.

One-time purchases: Non-subscription purchases (for example, lifetime PRO access) are charged once through the applicable app store. Restore purchases may be available through the App where supported by the store.

Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted through Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds directly for purchases made through app stores.

5. User content

The App allows you to add craft and business-related information, such as project names, material costs, labor time, pricing calculations, notes, and other data you choose to store on your device.

You retain ownership of the content you create. By using the Service, you grant us permission to process this information on your device and through technical services needed to run the App, solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

You agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content you add and for any business or pricing decisions you make based on calculator results
  • Pricing suggestions are estimates based on your inputs and do not constitute professional, financial, or legal advice
  • You will not upload harmful, illegal, defamatory, or inappropriate content
  • You will not abuse, overload, or attempt to exploit the Service

6. Data collection and privacy

We collect and process information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at tecydo.com/privacy-policy. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and handling of your data as described there.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tecydo in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except as permitted by law
  • Interferes with servers, databases, networks, or security measures
  • Circumvents technical limits or abuses the Service in bad faith
  • Uses automated systems (bots, scrapers, or scripts) without our written permission
  • Uploads malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others

8. Intellectual property

All content provided by us through the Service — including branding, logos, design, graphics, text, and software — is owned by Akyno Apps or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission.

You retain rights to the content you create inside the App, as stated in Section 5.

9. Website calculators

The Tecydo website may offer free online calculators (such as craft pricing, fabric cost, material unit cost, crochet pricing, and project cost tools). These tools are provided for informational purposes. Results are estimates only and do not constitute professional, financial, or legal advice.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and functioning, but we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • That locally stored data will never be lost, corrupted, or temporarily unavailable on your device
  • Compatibility with every device, OS version, or third-party platform
  • That calculations will meet your specific business needs or produce particular financial outcomes

11. Third-party services

The Service may integrate third-party services such as analytics, advertising (e.g., Google AdMob on the App and Google AdSense on the website), in-app purchase and subscription management (e.g., RevenueCat), and app distribution through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review separately. We are not responsible for their actions, outages, or data practices.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content or calculations
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Continuous availability

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law.

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App, discontinuing use of the website, and canceling any active subscriptions through your app store account.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. All changes will be published on our official website at tecydo.com, including on this Terms of Use page, with an updated "Last updated" date.

By continuing to use the Service after revised Terms are posted, you agree to the updated version. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
